I can’t begin to say how grateful and pleased we are with Gail and her crew at Cappa’s Kennel. We have two large shepherds with strong opinions (they are shepherds, after all!) and one of them has some significant health issues that require special care with feeding and medication. Cappa’s Kennel is the only place we can leave our dogs and know they are getting the best of care. The people at Cappa’s love our dogs and understand them and they take excellent care of them.
A couple of summers ago, in the 3rd week of July, our boy, Obi, bloated and needed to have emergency surgery. We were leaving on a trip at the beginning of August and our dogs were scheduled to go to Cappa’s Kennel. As we drove to the kennel, I was in tears. Obi wasn’t eating and he had just had surgery and I couldn’t believe we were going to leave him. However, when we got to Cappa’s kennel, we were greeted by people who know and love our dogs. They were so kind and they TOTALLY reassured us. I was so incredibly grateful. They put Obi in air conditioning (it was a very hot summer) and they nursed him back to health. When we came for him two weeks later, he was on the mend and looked great.
We drive an hour each way to bring our dogs to Cappa’s Kennel, and it’s totally worth it. You won’t be disappointed.
