Perfect for a Golden Retriever! Our dog REALLY likes people. She loves that we feed her and scratch her, but she also just wants to be near us- all the time- no matter what we are doing. The only problem is that we travel twice a year by plane. The first year, I must have toured 10 highly recommended kennels and they just would not have been ok for my needy but very lovable golden. Then I expanded my search; we live an hour away from Cappa’s! The information about the kennel sounded great and the people are even better! I email and talk to the same people every time- my dog has gone 7 times or so and I am about to make another reservation. It is a pain for us to get to and COMPLETELY worth it- I cannot recommend it highly enough. Golden will nibble at their skin when they get lonely or feel sad and my dog has NEVER done this at the kennel- she gets attention and is returned to us very healthy looking and happy, well exercised and clean. Our dog is always happy to see us of course, but she goes from us to the people who work at the kennel and back to us and then back to them when we pick her up. She clearly likes the people and likes being there, even though dogs always want to be in their homes. 100% worth the drive and money well spent for peace of mind for our 5th family member! Gail and Brittany in particular are just fantastic dog people to have around your dog!
