Gail was recommended to me as one of the best professional trainers on the East Coast and she has lived up to that reputation entirely. When my former service dog passed away after 13 years, Gail handled the entire process of finding a replacement with professionalism and honesty. She worked with a breeder to choose Ebby, and then boarded and trained him for more than a year. I especially appreciated her candid reports throughout the process, clearly indicating the high level of expectation she had for his training and development. Her passion and love for working with dogs is immediately evidenced by the high standards of discipline to which she holds herself and her staff at Cappa’s Kennel. Gail has taught me invaluable skills to have as Ebby’s handler and would frequently travel out of her way to train with us. Thanks to her expertise and despite being so young, not only is Ebby completely versed on all basic obedience commands but is also already performing vital services that I require for my disability, such as finding and fetching my cell phone from anywhere in the room. Though her style of communication sometimes felt blunt, I quickly realized that it helped maintain efficient and realistic goals throughout the process.
